too much Highs

too many high frequencies they are hurting my ears, i want to enjoy to low andmids in this song but i cant. pretty good overall though keep working

sadface-music responds:

Soooooorry, it sounded balanced on my speakers and 'phones.

-edit- I took another look at it, I agree with you. It was the tonight's the nighT that created that sharp noise. Upon editing cut the clip to Tonight's the nigh, haha.

It eliminated that harsh echo

its impossible

its impossible to dance at 180 bpm unless i can tourettes syndrom =) anyways keep working, you'll get better with practice

haxory responds:

This can well be danced to ;) It's still pretty common in the netherlands, the dance that's used to this. Fanatics only though and it's nothing compaired to a workout. The morning after your muscles will be stining so hard, it's amazing. To get sucked up in sound, regardless bpm.

But thanks for the review anyways ;)

Keep working ;)

may i ask where you got one synth from, the one that sounds like a sine wave kinda, anyways i like the vibe, maybe better mixing and better atmospheric sounds or different instruments, keep working and thanks for your review, you're more than welcome to check out all the rest of mine!

gaaaaayyyyyyy

nice

i have heard that exact pluck chord progression before, maybe a deadmau5 song. many people here have not been exposed to this kind of progressive trance so thank you for being a good contributor to newgrounds, i am new here and this is one of the better songs ive heard here. mixing is worst part about this song, the feeling is great though. maybe you should check out "atlantica (update)" that i just uploaded i think you would like it. 8/10

D-Chain responds:

Kinda surprised me with that XD
and i dont think you have heard the EXACT chord pluck progression..
many people do think the same as you, but... well..
i havent heard it before :)

and yes, many people underestimate the combination between progressive / trance and house...
so i hope a lot of people can atleast " learn " that those genre's arent just called trance.. or techno or any other.

2nd surprising.. mixingi s bad? in what kind of way is it bad...
anyways. to tell you the future: im getting there :)

peace.

not bad

not bad, doesnt remind me of autumn tactics though. sidechaining is nice.
overall the chords were common but it works, not bad overall 6/10. i uploaded a track called "atlantica" if u wanna check it out, n if u like that then you will like "keeping distance" ;)

e991e responds:

Thanks! I appreciate the honest review.

Also I think it is because of the chords in Autumn Tactics at a certain point are almost the same as this. probably just me though

boss!

this is a good freestyle beat, downloaded. props

BlowinMoneyENT responds:

keep working

i love this style very much but you should keep pursuing this style because if you can get really good at it then you can make incredible music =) its hard for a producer to create a silly get down party song without sounding cheesy and this isnt cheeesy so good job 7/10

Wabbla responds:

yeeah still sounds soooo fruity loops and noobish.
but hey is cool to have a "style"
tanks 4 the review dawg :D

soudns nice

melodies seem a little rushed or something, but the notes used are nice and i enjoy listening to this

roensb responds:

thats because its improvised without a metronome, thanks for the review!
